Gauthier Tapped by Royal Enfield for Orange County Half‑Mile
Dalton’s adaptability and experience across classes and manufacturers make him an ideal addition to Royal Enfield’s expanding SuperTwins factory efforts.
Royal Enfield has officially named Dalton Gauthier as the replacement rider for the upcoming Orange County Half-Mile in Middletown, NY. Dalton steps in as the team’s Mission AFT SuperTwins contender while lead rider Johnny Lewis recovers from an injury sustained at Ventura Short Track.
A native of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, Dalton turned pro in 2015 and quickly became known for his natural riding talent and resilience under pressure. He joins Royal Enfield’s effort for their sixth SuperTwins event of the season, riding at Orange County Speedway on Saturday, June 15.
“There aren’t many riders with Go‑Time’s resume,” said Adrian Sellers, Head of Custom & Motorsport at Royal Enfield, referring to Dalton’s nickname. “He’s a fantastic racer and a true professional. We’re glad to have him on the team.”
What he delivered wasn’t just a race—it was a statement. In his first ride on a Royal Enfield SuperTwins bike, Dalton slotted into third place in the Main Event—his first-ever premier-class podium finish, clinched by a razor-thin 0.002-second pass in the final corner.
