About Dalt
Some riders are born with speed. Others earn it in the dirt — scarred, bruised, and hungry for more. Dalton Gauthier is both.
A Pennsylvania native with a throttle hand like no other, Dalton’s rise in the world of American Flattrack has been anything but smooth. He’s faced injuries that could’ve ended it all. Critics who counted him out. And pressure that would’ve broken most. But every time he hit the ground, he got up faster. Smarter. Stronger.

The Comeback Kid
In 2019, Dalton made his mark by clinching the AFT Singles Championship — a win that silenced the doubters and crowned him as one of the sport’s elite. But the story didn’t stop there. His career has become a high-speed saga of grit and redemption, fueled by the kind of drive you can’t teach and a passion you can’t fake. Riding with renewed focus and no pressure, Dalton proved he’s not just a contender—he’s a champion built for the climb.
Known as “The Comeback Kid,” Dalton’s not here to play it safe — he’s here to dominate. With every lap, he pushes the limits of what’s possible on two wheels, captivating fans and proving that true resilience doesn’t just survive the crash — it comes back faster. Backed by a battle-tested team and a mindset built on redemption, he rides like every race is his shot to make history.
Whether he’s tearing up the track or tuning his bike in the pits, every move is fueled by the same obsession: to go faster, ride harder, and never settle. Off the track, he’s as real as it gets — grounded, determined, and laser-focused on building a legacy that outlasts the checkered flag. For Dalton, this isn’t about fame. It’s about the fight, the fans, and the future.
And the ride? It’s just getting started.
Gauthier’s Backup
Behind every lap, every podium, and every comeback is a crew that keeps the wheels turning — literally.

Rob “Robby‑Bobby” McLendon
Mentor & Mechanic
Rob McLendon has been a driving force behind Dalton’s resilience and success—not just as a mechanic, but as a coach, mentor, and constant support presence. Rob owned Dalton’s 2019 team, served as crew chief, futured as his personal trainer, and was even referred to as “like a big brother and dad at the same time”. When riding and morale needed a boost, Rob was there—every lap, every set.

From Pit Crews to Podiums: The Machines Behind the Mission
Few riders can say they’ve delivered wins across such a wide range of machines — from the fire-breathing Ron Wood BMW to the factory-backed Harley-Davidson XG750R, and everything in between. Even fewer can say they’ve been trusted to help develop, dial in, and push the limits of those bikes in real-time competition. But Dalton isn’t just a rider — he’s a builder of legacies. His ability to adapt, compete, and elevate each platform he touches has made him a rare force in flat track: part racer, part test pilot, and all grit. Whether it’s proving a point on a Husky or helping Royal Enfield earn its stripes in the pro ranks, Dalton’s influence is stamped across every lap.
2016
DJR Motorsports
Ron Wood Racing — BMW Twin
Dalton cut his teeth on the legendary Ron Wood-prepped BMW — a unique, fire-breathing machine that tested throttle control and rewarded true talent. It was gritty, raw, and the perfect launchpad for a rider built for chaos.
2019
Husqvarna / D&D Cycles
The AFT Singles Championship came riding a Husqvarna FC450 under the D&D Cycles banner — a season that rewrote his story and proved he wasn’t just back… he was on top.
2020
Harley-Davidson XG750R — Vance & Hines Factory Team
Gauthier joined the iconic Vance & Hines/Harley-Davidson factory team in the AFT SuperTwins class, piloting the XG750R. Under the guidance of racing legends like Ricky Howerton and Terry Vance, Dalton pushed the factory V-twin to its limits.
2022
Factory Honda
Dalton threw a leg over a Honda CRF450R during his fierce 2022 AFT Singles campaign, securing wins, podiums, and a second-place overall finish. Even on a new platform, he showed the same fire — adapting, pushing, and nearly stealing the title.
